September 2020 – April 2021 – Creativity is Mistakes – Coordinator
Leading & coordinating Creativity is Mistakes a Connect & Flourish – Arts Council Wales funded project.
The project seeks to place at its heart the voices and experiences of disabled, Deaf,and neuro-divergent visual artists and creative practitioners.
It will enhance the understanding within Wales’s principal Visual Arts Organisations and seek to find ways and methodologies that can demonstrate how to embed equity, adopt access as an aesthetic principle and ensure work reflects diversity, acknowledging the intersectional nature of our lived experiences. Working with Disability Arts Cymru(DAC), Artes Mundi, G39 and Mostyn Gallery to deliver this peer support project, forming a consortium to develop thinking around the need to create informed and realistic opportunities to ensure the voices and talents of Disabled, Deaf, and neuro-divergent artists are included within the Visual Arts sector of Wales, UK and Globally.
**I had to give this role up, due to caring and health issues – gutted as such a brilliant project!

February 2019 – Present – Creative Producer – Storyopolis

Storyopolis is a literacy project with a difference. A vibrant, city centre based initiative, Storyopolis offers an innovative framework for schools and families from areas of socioeconomic and cultural deprivation to engage with high quality activities that build the confidence, communication skills and creativity of children and young people, empowering them to make their voices heard in the world.
Engaging with the Artist from Poets, Beat Boxers, Comic Book Writers, Storytellers, Illustrators and Designers, Artists and Animators to develop dynamic, challenging, creative workshops to engage under resourced children from 8 to 18 in all aspects of literacy.

Creative Producer with with Paul Davies Creative Director of Volcano Theatre Company in Swansea, South Wales to develop ‘What Makes a Home‘ a Station to Sea Legacy Project, which was supported by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation a community partnership project with Volcano Theatre Company & Coastal Housing.

Gwendraeth Arts LAB is a new community group based in Kidwelly, Carmarthenshire, Wales. Developing arts events, workshops and community projects engaging individuals and community groups from all backgrounds and abilities in our local area.

January 2018 – March 2020 – NAWR – Administrator for the Network

NAWR was the Arts and Education Network for Mid and West Wales, run by UWTSD. implemented by the Welsh Government and the Arts Council of Wales. The main focus of NAWR’s activity is the provision of high quality professional learning events for teachers and arts practitioners that support them to provide creative, engaging arts-based experiences for learners in schools. NAWR seeked to generate confidence and creativity in teachers, learners and practitioners through inclusive, collaborative, process-driven, arts-based projects and professional learning opportunities.
Joint Roles as Part-time administrator and Producer for Activities and Events.
